Cursus beschrijving

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program focuses on the design of technological information systems, including computing systems, as solutions to business and research data and communications support needs. The program includes instruction in the principles of computer hardware and software components, algorithms, databases, telecommunications, user tactics, application testing, and human interface design.

Atlantis University offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Degree program that can be obtained by: transferring credits earned in a Computer Information Technology Associate’s Degree (60 credit hours) or equivalent and completing the remaining prescribed major courses (additional 63 credit hours) for a total of 123 semester credit hours.

Program Objective
To plan, construct, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures.
To design, configure, and maintain a cloud infrastructure.
To equip students with the skills in protection and application of network security, compliance/operational intelligence, threats, access control, and cryptography.
To use and apply current technical concepts and practices in the core information technologies.
Through a conceptual understanding, apply technological skills in hardware, networking, security, cloud computing, database, web development, IT project management and research to analyze and solve problems.

"Great Experience"

The teachers, the classes and the facilities of the school was great.
Also the location of the school is very good. I enjoyed the time and i liked to go to classes.
But there were one thing, what my stay making worst.

The housing what i geting from the school, was a desaster. It was a apartment where 6 other guys lived.
It was a big mess, very dirty, noisy, absolutly disgusting. The floor was sticky, everywhere are rubbish and a big mess.
I stayed only for one night in this apartment, after that, i looked for a Airbnb housing.
This cost the twice of the price of the University housing, but it was worth it.

Over all i can say, the school, the teachers and the classes are great, but if you want to go to this school, look by your self for a housing.

Visa assistentie

We kunnen geen visas voor studenten aanvragen. De school kan u echter wel met alle benodigde documentatie voorzien die u nodig heeft voor uw visa aanvraag.

Indien u voltijd in de Verenigde Staten gaat studeren voor meer dan 18 uur per week, zult u een I-20 ontvangen die u nodig heeft om aan de VS ambassade dient in te leveren samen met uw F-1 studenten visa aanmeldingsformulier. De I-20 heeft een er SEVIS tracking nummer op. Studnten die zich voor een studenten visa willen aanmelden moeten de SEVIS kosten online betalen voordat ze naar de VS ambassade of consulaat gaan voor hun visa interview.

Uw I-20 zal naar uw thuisadres dmv normale post worden gestuurd zonder kosten. Als u uw papierwerk dmv express post wilt ontvangen zult u $65 moeten betalen bij uw registratie.

Let aub op dat de wet in Verenigde Staten aangeeft dat een I-20 alleen aan studenten gegeven kan worden aan studenten die voltijd Engelse talen studies willen gaan doen. De Verenigde Staten wet staat studenten niet toe om part-time te werken met een F-1 Studenten Visa. Indien u minder dan 18 uur per week studeert, moet u zich zelf voor een Visitor Visa (B1/B2) aanmelden.
